Invitation to Apply for Accreditation
AS TESDA TRAINING SERVICE PROVIDERS
For the implementation of the TESDA Career Development Plan,
a sub-component of the TESDA HRD Plan
The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) through TESDA Circular Number 19 series of 2008 is expanding its pool of training service providers for the implementation of its Career Development Plan, a sub-component of the TESDA HRD Plan.
TESDA is inviting public and private institutions all over the country to become part of its accredited pool of training service providers. Interested Institutions are required to submit the following requirements:
1. The institution must submit a Letter Of Intent to become part of the existing pool of Training Service Providers.
2. The institution must be able to present appropriate credentials issued by any recognized accrediting body such as CHED, PAASCU, etc. to attest that the institution have the core competency for the course or program TESDA desires to provide for its employees.
3. The institution must be willing to partner with TESDA to undertake portfolio assessment of prospective trainees.
4. The institution must be capable of providing career development interventions desired by TESDA beyond the formal classroom-type delivery system.
5. The institution must be willing to partner with TESDA to undertake portfolio assessment of graduates.
6. The institution must submit the names of faculty and personnel who will be assigned to conduct the TESDA requirement complete with credentials.
7. The institution must submit a copy of its SEC Registration.
Interested Institutions located in Metro Manila may submit their documentation anytime during office hours to the Chairman, TESDA Development Institute Accreditation Committee, Office of the Chief of Services for Administration, 2nd Floor Administration Building, TESDA Complex, East Service Road, South Superhighway, Taguig City. Interested Institutions located outside of Metro Manila can submit their documentation to the nearest TESDA regional or provincial office for submission to the Chairman, TESDA Development Institute Accreditation Committee
Through the use of appropriate instruments, the Accreditation Committee shall assess the qualification of the applicant training service provider as to its fitness to provide the services required by TESDA. The Accreditation Committee shall have the option to use pre-formatted questionnaires and/or engage the applicant in an interview. The Accreditation Committee shall subject the institution included in the long list of training service providers to the process of verification.
The Pool of Accredited Training Service Providers shall be published. The TESDA Central and Regional Bids and Awards Committee shall select from the Pool of Accredited Training Service Providers who are eligible to submit bid tenders for the conduct of a specific training course or program pursuant to RA 9184.
